2008 FATHER'S DAY IN MIAMI AND MIAMI BEACH

2008 Father’s Day in Miami is Sunday June 15th! There is nothing better than remembering my grandfather standing waiting for me at the corner of my elementary school. It is today, an unforgettable memory that makes me appreciate even more the dedication and unconditional love a grandparent can give you. My dad and I are really close, too, and he has given me pretty awesome memories, as well.

Looking through the Internet, I found interesting tips on what to do and where to go this father’s day. First, there is going to be a brunch at local Fairchild Botanic Garden, located in Coral Gables that promises delicious food in a completely magical setting. Besides, you can always keep it simple and affordable by spending all day on the beach of South Beach. Or perhaps, you can just choose a more traditional father’s day activity and take your dad out to one superb restaurant in Miami to enjoy a casual meal with your whole family. June 2008 is going to be mostly about Father’s Day Celebration. However, there are going to be some interesting happenings. These happenings include popular Brazilian Film Festival, always hilarious Summer Shorts Festival, entertaining Bahamas / Goombay Festival, and much more…

>> WHAT TO DO AND WHERE TO GO ON FATHER'S DAY IN MIAMI

Miami, Florida, has plenty to offer to celebrate Father’s Day. This Father’s Day 2008 in Miami is the perfect opportunity to spend a day with that person who loves you unconditionally and has taught you everything. If you do have great memories of your dad or perhaps grandpa, here is a selection of a few special things to don in Miami.

Take your dad to a refreshing Sunday brunch
If you would like to have a relaxing midday and have brunch with your father, there are some places that have tasty menus and terrific environments. Some of which include The Four Seasons Hotel located in Brickell which offers the best brunch in town.

Spend the day on the beach
South Beach is probably one of the most famous beaches in the country, as much for the art deco buildings that boarder the beach as for the partial nudity that is allowed there. The beach is great for swimming and very wide and clean for the amount of people that frequent it year-round.

Take your father to a delicious restaurant
Some of the greatest chefs in the world are now living in Miami and working in its world-class restaurants, where you will find relaxed gracious hosts, and celebrity spotting is not unusual. The Miami’s less expensive restaurants are varied and lovely, with delicious menus for all tastes.
