The restaurant offers a great view of the pools of the Shore Club as well as the ocean. Ago is located in Shore Club Hotel in South Beach. The restaurant, co-owned by Robert De Niro and Agostino Sciandri, features elegant white and gray marble floors and walls, an open-air kitchen, and casual but elegant wood chairs and tables. On weekends the main policy is reservations only. The menu includes the emblematic “home-made raviolis” and the “bistecca alla fiorentina” both cooked to the perfection in a wood burning oven. Other dishes are pizza arugula, fritto misto, wild mushroom risotto and a great variety of sea food. The restaurant is trendy and casual during the day, whereas sophisticated and romantic at night. The prices are reasonable.
