During the American Revolution of the 1700's, British Colonists became tired of British rule and decided to take a stand for their independence. They wanted to form their own country so they could worship as they chose and have more of a say in what goes on in their government. It was a hard fought battle, but the Colonists were victorious and a new nation was born.

Ever since that time people from various countries have come to America to seek their own piece of the American dream. They came from countries such as Germany, Ireland, Poland and others and each one had their own goals.
