Miami tourists come to the city during the month of July to celebrate the nation’s Independence Day. Two of the big celebrations take place in the heart of the city of Miami.

The 4th of July is hugely celebrated all over the United States, and of course, in the city of Miami Beach. As part of tradition, the city hosts the celebration on 8th and Ocean Drive. This year the city of Miami Beach invites you, your family, and friends to come out and enjoy a day of picnic, free concert, and fireworks with other fellow American patriots. .

The show begins at 7:00 pm, but it is suggested to come earlier to get a good spot for the performance. You should also bring beach chairs and towels, but not coolers or bottles. First, there will be the traditional swearing ceremony of newly-naturalized citizens. The evening will continue with the performance by Jencarlos followed by the awaited fireworks which last approximately 15 minutes. The celebration only gets bigger at America's Birthday Bash in Bayfront Park Downtown. With seating for over 2,000 in the amphitheatre and additional 10,000 on the grassy hills, you can enjoy Latin pop artists live. On the South Stage, you can enjoy pop and reggae to the rhythm of 3rd Rail and Pat de Leon. All performances are then followed by the fireworks spectacle which light the starry sky with American colors.

This Miami event includes activities for children, live music, food and drinks. The Bayfront Park appears to be the perfect location for such celebration as it is the home of many monuments such as that of Christopher Columbus. Other sculptures include the Challenger Memorial, the Light Tower, and the Slide Mantra by artist Isamu Noguchi who redesigned the park in the 80s.

The Bash is set to start at 4 pm and run until 9 pm with the fireworks.
