If you love Asian culture, make sure you do not miss the annual South Florida Dragon Boat Festival. The Miami event will take place on Oct 18th and 19th, 2008.  It will be open from 9AM until 5PM each day at the Haulover Beach Park Marina, located at 10800 Collins Avenue in Miami Beach.

This Florida festival is meant to celebrate the rich and long history of the Asian people, as well as the contributions they have made to our culture. To this end, they have scheduled many diverse events such as stage performances, Egg Roll eating contests, a Kite contest and so much more. There is even a booth at the Festival to help visitors keep tabs on their health. The Florida festival also has face painting and many other kid-friendly activities they are sure to love.
