THE SALON: 18TH AND 19TH CENTURY PORTRAITS FROM THE COLLECTION
The museum's important Rococo and British Grand Manner portraits by such artists as Hyacinthe Rigaud, Jean-Baptiste van Loo, Benjamin West, and Sir Thomas Lawrence will be installed in a unique, intimate setting reminiscent of an 18th century salon d’arts.

JEAN-MICHEL OTHONIEL
One of the most highly revered French artists of his generation, Othoniel is known for infusing his works in all media with delicacy, light, and fantasy. His glass Kiosque des Noctambules, created for the entrance for the Palais Royal station, by the Paris Metro to commemorate its Centenary has become of the most celebrated recent public works in France.
