Miami Beach lodging and any South Beach hostel differ greatly from hostels in Europe. The concept of hostels is more developed in Europe than in the US. In Europe, they use a variety of names and different lodging solutions that are all affordable if not dirt cheap. We put these lodging options in the family of hostels even if they are technically not hostels.

These lodging options include Bed and Breakfasts, guest houses and pensions. Hostels are definitely different and provide unique advantages and disadvantages for travelers. In Europe, hostels can be a more luxurious or horrendous lodging solution. Most probably don’t have a location like the South Beach hostel established in premium a location. Some Miami Beach lodging hostels offer additional amenities such as TV’s in rooms while others offer meals.
