About 10 years ago, Israeli-born brothers Yochai and Doron Sasi took over Pita Loca in South Beach and they haven not looked back since. The lively Miami restaurant is well known to all who come to Miami with patrons from near and far, all agreeing that the food is phenomenal. Yochai says he wanted to bring a piece of Israel to Miami in look, sound and taste. With a beautiful mural depicting the city of Jerusalem on the wall, Israeli music playing in the background and the aroma of shawarma in the air, you will certainly feel a sense of Israel. But besides operating as a Middle Eastern restaurant, the brothers are proud to call their establishment a little Chabad House. They have tefillin for travelers to put on, as well as, mezuzot, Israeli calling cards and newspapers for sale. HOURS SUN THRU THUR 12pm till 12am. |
