Find out what was going on in Miami during October 24th to November 4th. This week several events took place in Miami and Miami Beach, including a movie premier, a Halloween celebration, and a party at the Sagamore hotel. All events in Miami were packed with celebrities.

 

 

Movie Premier in Miami

Spanish actor, Javier Barden and fellow actors Benjamin Bratt and Jhon Leguizano were in town for the premier of their new movie Love in the time of Cholera, which is based in the Gabriel Garcia Marquez’s novels “Amor en Tiempos de Cólera.” The movie was directed by Mike Newell and produced by Golden Globe-winner Scott Steindorff. The novel was originally released in 1985. In October, Oprah Winfrey named the novel her latest pick for her popular book club. The premier took place at the Colony Theater on Lincoln Road. After the premier, they attended a private party at the Miami Beach home of J.R. and Loren Ridinger.

Lance Brass at the Sagamore

Lance Brass, ex-Nsync’s member, was spotted at the Sagamore Miami hotel on Friday along with fashion designer Narcisso Rodriguez. They were also spotted at the gay bar Halo on Lincoln Road. Lance became famous because his Nsync days, after the group got separated he was in the news for intended to travel to the outer space in a special project. As you might know, the project was closed and the singer never got the opportunity to travel to the outer space.

Eve and Ciara at Casa Casuarina

Rap star Eve checked in into Casa Casuarina on Friday. She got a pretty nice surprise because the annual Halloween bash was already fully under way when she arrived. Also, at Casa Casuarina: R&B singer Ciara who was in town to celebrate her birthday at Cameo.
