The 2008 Discovery of America Day is a FREE annual event held every October in Miami’s Bayfront Park Amphitheater at 300 Biscayne Boulevard. With an outdoor music and food festival from noon to 8:00 PM, this gathering by far beats out the other events in Miami Florida that celebrates Columbus’ arrival to the Americas.

The Hispanic Heritage Council is responsible for organizing the annual 2008 Discovery of America Day. Enjoy live entertainment and folkloric groups from Spain and Latin America, activities for children, arts and crafts and spicy, South American foods. Gather along the waterfront with thousands of patriotically enthusiastic attendees to witness a re-enactment of the historic moment when Spain’s three ships arrived at our land.
