Miami has more road rage incidents then any other citiy in the United States and is one of the worst cities for driving.  Because of this and to avoid the heavy traffic we suggest  you visit Miami without a car.

The Metrobus
The Metrobus offers service from Miami Beach to West Miami Dade and from the Middle Keys to the southern portion of Broward County. The fares start  $1.50 and if you know you will have to change buses, ask for a transfer and the next leg is free.

The Miami Metro Rail
For $1.50 a person the Miami Metrorail runs from the Omni Station downtown Miami to Dadeland in the south to Palmetto in the west. For those that visit Miami without a car and staying in South Beach, there are buses every 20 minutes that will take you to the Omni Station where you can catch the Metro rail.

Taxis are common throughout Miami and Miami Beach and are easily accessible at Miami hotels and cab stands throughout the city. However, Miami is a walking city, so we suggest you pack your comfortable shoes before boarding the plane.
