December is the month when the Art Basel Miami occurs. Being the most important event in Miami and one of the most important contemporary events in the world, the Art Basel Miami has been steadily growing since its inception. The 2007 edition was just fantastic, and the 2008 promises to be even better.

Also, during December for the first time, Art Miami Festival took place in the city of Miami Beach. Even when both the Art Basel and Art Miami feature artworks, Art Miami is different from the Art Basel Miami because is focused in a more conservative public.
