Memorial Day Traffic & Parking Restrictions

During the busy Miami Memorial Day Weekend there are a few traffic and parking restrictions that the City of Miami Beach set up every year in order to promote safety and avoid hassles. Ocean Drive is usually open to vehicular traffic throughout the weekend unless closure is required for public safety and crowd control measures.
Washington and Collins avenues will remain two-way traffic.
Only local residents with the proper zoned decals will be allowed to park on residential areas.
No street parking is usually allowed on Collins Avenue between 8th Street and Espanola Way during Miami Memorial Day Weekend.
Free Bus Transportation - The South Beach Local (bus service) will operate free from 6:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. numerous stops along South Beach and service run every 10 to 15 minutes.
All city-owned parking lots and garages will have normal operations.
