Seven years ago, the city of Miami Beach became one of the many homes for the JVC Jazz Festival. The event, which has shows in places all over the world, has hosted some of the best in music. From classic artists such as Tony Bennet and George Benson to modern acts such as India.Arie and Jamie Cullum, there is an act to satisfy any musical taste. Over the JVC Jazz Festival’s 20 plus years, it has also hosted legendary acts like Dizzie Gillespie, Miles Davis and BB King. The Miami series of shows will begin on May 17th, when Arturo Sandoval takes the stage at the Arturo Sandoval Jazz Club at 8:30 PM and again at 10:30 PM. The club is located at 6701 Collins Avenue Deauville Beach Resort in the city of Miami Beach. The Carnival Center for the Performing Arts will host Bebel Gilberto and Federico Aubele on May 19th.
