We arrived at the
2009 Miami Beach Boat Show Sunday morning when it opened at 10 am. Traffic was already building up and parking was difficult to find. In spite of the economical crisis, all the major boat manufacturers participated at the 2009 Miami Beach Boat Show, albeit in slightly smaller stands than last year. Although the
Miami city guide describes the show with flattering details, the sentiment has improved amongst sales people who were friendlier and offered great discounts. Buyers were in command. A lot of people flocked to and around the smaller boat stands.
Meanwhile, the large boat stands seemed to attract more spectators than potential buyers. As per the Miami city guide, people come from all over the world to make their boat-related purchases during this special weekend. We visited the "Concept" boat manufacturer stand to admire a wonderful 44 foot
sports boat. The service level is definitely improving in Miami as all the friendly salespeople were extra eager and attentive to customers.
