This unusual move was made possible through a variety of corporate sponsors who agreed to underwrite the event. Fans will be able to get their tickets to the show in a variety of ways. Starting May 12th, fans can visit the following sites for information on how to get their tickets or to redeem ticket codes: ozzfest.com, livenation.com, monsterenergy.com, jagermusic.com and fye.com. Before then, people can visit these sites to find out about the offline initiatives they have going on. There will be a limit of 2 tickets per customer to make sure as many people will be able to get them as possible. Osbourne is also offering priority ticket codes to fans who purchase specially marked copies of his new CD, Black Rain. These special copies will be available at select retailers on May 22nd. You can make sure you will be able to get a special copy by pre-ordering at www.ozzfest.com today. Ticket codes will be able to be redeemed starting June 12th. The album will be released on Epic records.

Ozzfest has been one of the more successful music festivals and is recognized as a great launching pad for up and coming acts. Past Ozzfest acts include System of a Down, Disturbed, Lacuna Coil, Mudvayne, Rob Zombie, Slipknot and Powerman 5000. Osbourne himself has not been on the bill much in recent years, but that is going to change in 2007. When announcing the free tickets, they also confirmed he will be performing at all shows.
