Celebrating its tenth annual anniversary, the Miami International Piano Festival brought the melody of Rachmaninoff to the city of Miami. As part of their special year, the Patrons of Exceptional Artists, a non-profit organization, planned a series of concerts featuring some of the best musicians from around the globe.

The festival took place at the Lincoln Center in Miami Beach where pianists performed solo presentations and concertos while guest speakers gave lectures that enriched the public’s musical expectations.

One of the pianists present at the festival included the Ukrainian musician, Alexander Gavrylyuk, who played Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini. Gavrylyuk was the winner of the 11th Arthur Rubinstein Masters Piano Competition in 2005 which shows his excellence and talent when in front of a piano.

Overall, the Miami International Piano Festival was a complete success as the masterpieces of composer and pianist Mozart were recited drawing audience of all different ages to embrace classical music.
