Miami Beach's Arts in the Park - Miami Beach Events

Enjoy a free concert in Flamingo Park when Miami Beach's Arts in the Park seasonal series begins. Although the annual program has been scaled back due to budget cuts, several Miami Beach events are scheduled in the coming weeks - from salsa to Shakespeare.

Miami Beach's  Arts in the Park program began in 2006, after a survey the city did asking residents what they liked about Miami Beach and what they wanted to see more of. Residents responded by asked for more free things to do in Miami and family-friendly Miami Beach events, so the city decided to use city parks to host free events for the entire family.

This year the Miami Beach's Arts in the Park series will feature six Miami Beach events including a concert by Cuban born local salsa singer with a beach party vibe. This season will also include a presentation of Shakespeare's Othello at Flamingo park and even a kids-friendly show by a California based artist who performs children songs.
