Carnival in Miami - Miami events
The 2009 Carnival in Miami will be the 25th annual celebration of the Miami events. This year, Sunday, October 11th, live bands and calypsonians from the Caribbean Islands will come to Miami for the silver Jubilee Celebration in honor of Selman Lewis and Desmond Worrell. The 2009 Carnival in Miami will be in Downtown Miami’s Bicentennial Park. Tickets are $20 per person when purchased in advance.
There will be Caribbean food, drinks and arts & crafts for sale. The Miami events parade starts at noon and runs from NE 27th Street and NE 2nd Avenue to Bicentennial Park. The 2009 Carnival in Miami, an international event, is the union of the original West Indian American Day Carnival Association with the formerly competing Caribbean American Carnival and the Carnival Association of South Florida which previously held their carnivals on the same date. Presently, the 2009 Carnival in Miami is North America’s most popular Carnival and the highest profit-generating festival in South Florida.
Guests reserve airfare and vacation rentals as early as November the year before each event. To purchase the Miami events tickets in advance, visit https://miami-carnival-inc.ticketleap.com.
