Posted on Thursday, 10.15.2009 From November 5th to 15th, French Week Miami will be at the top of the list when it comes to Miami events. South Florida will witness 10 days of French cultural, economic, and social events focused on two major cultural events: the 5th edition of "France Cinema Florida" film festival in Miami and Boca Raton and the Francophone Evening at the 26th "Miami Book Fair International" with 5 authors of the French language.
With important economical and commercial aspects, French Week Miami also sets up a delegation of French companies to look for ways of improving logistics in Florida. In addition, partners and organizations such as The Alliance Française of Miami and Fort Lauderdale make it their active duty to honor France during this special week.
French Week Miami will hold a ceremony on November 11th in Boynton Beach to honor the brave WWII American Veterans who are to be awarded with the Legion of Honour for all that they have done in France.
French Week Miami is one of these Miami events that make South Florida the open minded community that it is.
