Miami Sporting Events - 2008 Head of Indian Creek Regatta


The annual 2008 Head of the Indian Creek Regatta is a 2.7 mile or 4,450 meter race on Miami Beach’s charming Indian Creek at 6500 Indian Creek Drive. Registration is $75 per eight, $60 per quad, $50 per double and $35 per single. Organizational Fee Cap is $950. The 2008 Head of Indian Creek Regatta is open to all levels of competitors (high school, masters, colleges and open classes) from recreation singles to championship eights. The Men’s Novice Quad and Women’s Novice Quad have been added to the 2008 Head of Indian Creek Regatta list of events.

The 2008 Head of the Indian Creek Regatta will be held on Sunday, October 12th. All participating organizations must register with USRowing in order to compete. USRowing registration is required for Indian Creek regatta insurance coverage. Medals are awarded to the top three ranks throughout the day, and trophies are awarded to the highest scoring college, club and high school during a ceremony after the last day of these Miami Sporting Events.
