“The Fox-Trot: Dancing in the Dark” is set during the Second World War era showcasing the moods of nostalgia and glamour. The piece is danced to the musical flow of French classical music divided into four movements and packed with 42 dancers which alternate throughout the piece. The choreography, costumes, sets, and styles are inspired by the 1940s. The Miami City Ballet performs this Program III at the Carnival Center of the Performing Arts on February 29th, 2008 and March 1st, 2008.
