One of the many music festival scheduled to hit the city of Miami in 2008 is the Florida International University Music Festival. The annual Miami event is scheduled to run from late October to early November and will be held at various nearby venues. One of those being FIU’s Wertheim Performing Arts Center. This event will showcase legendary talents as well as FIU students. The FIU Big Band and the FIU Symphony Orchestra are just some of the acts expected to entertain guests this year. The styles played range from blues to classical pieces, so there is sure to be something everyone will like represented.
