In 2008, the Miami-Dade County Fair will celebrate over a half century of bringing great entertainment to the city. Over 700,000 people will be on hand for this, one of the biggest Miami events there is. The Florida festival offers plenty for all ages and will run from March 27th until April 13th, more than enough time to see it all! Most days, the Fair will be open from 3PM until 10PM weekdays and Noon to 10 PM on weekends. At $9.00 a ticket, with kids 5 and under free, it is great for a traveler on a budget, or residents looking for an inexpensive way to pass the time. Admission prices allow guests access to all the great acts performing this year. Ride coupons must be bought separately. Like most Miami events, there is top-notch entertainment. This year, you can see Tadpole the Clown, Fairmingo and The Peking Acrobats, among others. There are also Mardi-Gras events there. A full schedule of activities for the Florida festival will be posted at www.fairexpo.com as they become available. You can also get your tickets there.
