The Miami International Map Fair features a weekend for families to enjoy an educational field trip through history with the help of ancient maps. This Miami event begins Friday February 6th with a cocktail reception and dinner with other map enthusiasts. Saturday is filled with lectures and group activities and the festivities have a star closing finish at the Miami Heat game at the American Airlines Arena. The Miami International Map Fair gathers exhibitors and dealers who enjoy and like to purchase antique maps of every size, shape, and time period. Collectors can also bring they own maps to the Historical Museum of Southern Florida to receive expert opinions from professional map dealers.
