We strongly recommend that visitors interested in history and architecture take this enlightening tour. The historic district of South Beach, also known as the Art deco district, is a unique collection of preserved buildings built from the late 20's to the early 60's. This tour is conducted by local architects and historians who provide thorough explanations of the Art Deco movement throughout all its phases.
The ninety-minute walking tours depart from the Art Deco Welcome Center located on 1001 Ocean Drive, Miami Beach, and explore Ocean Drive, Collins Avenue, and other historic avenues.
Dates: Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 10.30 am, and Thursday at 6.30 pm.
