The Lapidus Lounge on the Mezzanine Level is named after the famed architect Morris Lapidus, who designed the hotel in the 50s. Another restaurant is Dilido Beach Club which is the only beachfront restaurant on South Beach. The food at Dilido features Mediterranean style in a Moroccan-inspired setting. American offers the best steak, seafood, pasta and salads with indoor or outdoor dining. The other restaurant is David Bouley Evolution, the hotel’s luxury dining experience, where the main dining room offers a Japanese and French-influenced menu.
