This year's Art Deco Weekend Festival was another success attracting hordes of visitors. This was the 30th edition of the event celebrating Miami Beach's Art Deco architecture. This festival showcased the global nature of Art Deco art architecture and design.
This year was quite innovative bringing along a comparison of the Art Deco architecture of Shangai and the Miami Beach's Art Deco Architecture. Both cities have in common an inventory of astounding art deco buildings constructed in the 1930's and the 1940's. Both are iconic cities in two remote continents.
Events during the festivals were numerous and diversified from photos exhibitions, classic car festivals, antique and collectibles selling, musical performances, food festivals, street parades and much more.
