The 37th annual South Florida Auto Show opened its doors in Miami Beach Friday November 9th and will stay open until November 18th, 2007. At a time where all car manufacturers are suffering from a sluggish economy and an outrageous high cost for gasoline, the event still attracts a lot of visitors. The South Florida International Auto Show features more than 1000 vehicles from 40 worldwide car manufacturers, exhibiting all kinds of cars from the emerging stars that are hybrid vehicles to exotic cars such as Lamborghinis, Ferraris, Aston Martins, and Bentleys. Special Miami events and conferences are planned to unveiled new cars and to hold discussions on the new technologies that are being incorporated into the 2008 models. Also, the 2008 South Florida International Auto Show introduced several new car models, including the 2008 Cadillac CTS and the new Audi Coupe with its incredible sporty line. Hybrids concept cars took the center stage with gasoline reaching all time highs. Japanese manufacturers exhibits their models, but American companies joined the party by introducing more efficient vehicles as well. For instance, Cadillac introduced a new hybrid version of the Escalade SUV that improves city mileage by more than 50%. Whilw General Motors will introduce 16 hybrid models in the coming 4 years.

Nissan displayed its new smaller version of its successful FX 35, the EX 35. Maserati introduced its new Granturismo that promises to be a great success. This Miami event is not to be missed! It is a nice Miami event to spend a few hours.
