The Museum of Contemporary Art is considered the best Miami Art Museum. Through various exhibitions, this Miami attraction’s mission is to make art accessible to society. Its 23,000 square foot structure is filled with contemporary art in the form of films, photographs, publications, and from time to time with performances. Miami Art Museum’s permanent collection includes over 400 works of national and international artists. These artists include Gabriel Orozco, Yoko Ono, Dan Flavin, Louise Nevelson, and Zoe Leonard among many others. The Miami Art Museum is a main Miami tourist attraction opened to the public of all ages from Tuesdays through Sundays. There are also a variety of events held throughout the year and as many as ten exhibitions.
