Posted on Saturday, 3.27.2010 Dragon Boat Festival - Miami events Once a year the City hosts the Miami Dragon Boat Festival race which originally originated in the Far East. The 250-metre races are between boats containing 20 paddlers each and take place on Brickell off the Coast of Claughton Island.
No experience is not necessary to be a in this race, only requirement is a competitive spirit and the ability to work as a team. The 2010 Miami Dragon Boat Festival race is a colorful and spectacular affair and entertainment is provided to keep interest levels up when your favorite team is not racing. |
