Founded in 1995, the Center for Emerging Arts' mission is to facilitate a forum in which artists and the public can together challenge traditions, explore new ideas, and serve as a gateway through which the artists can enter the arts mainstream. Through the presentation of exhibitions, performances, artistic programming, education, and research, the Center directs its efforts to respond to the ever-changing, total artists and community's needs.
