Cacao Restaurant located in Coral Gables is a creation of internationally acclaimed Executive Chef Edgar Leal. Leal envisioned a name that would be instantly recognizable as something pleasurable in many languages. Chocolate is one of the ingredients included in many plates. The food has a distinctive Latin flavor. Cacao is 4,200 square feet which includes a main dining room, bar area, private dining salon, and wine cellar. The restaurant was designed by Venezuelan Interior Designer, Andrés Alibrandi who creates an elegant, romantic and inviting ambiance. Cacao's cuisine is Contemporary Latin American and is based on classical recipes. It is important that you know that the price is worth it and the main policy is reservation only, yet exceptions are always possible.
