May is the ideal month to enjoy flowers and foliage of all kinds; consequently, it does not sound crazy that the Redland Orchid Festival was held during this month. This Florida Festival featured vendors that allow people to get everything they could need to care of their own plants. Also, the festival provided speakers that discussed themes such as Orchids of Jamaica, The Huntleya Alliance, General Orchid Care, Bulbophyllums, and Pests and Diseases of Orchids.

Also in May 2007, the Miami Piano Festival arrived to the Lincoln Center in the city of Miami Beach. During the festival pianists performed solo presentations and concerts while guest speakers gave lectures that enriched the public’s musical expectations.

Other great Florida festival during Miami was the JVC Jazz Mussic Festival where attendants enjoyed classic artists such as Tony Bennet and George Benson and modern acts such as India.Arie and Jamie Cullum. May 2007 offered a lot of things to please locals and tourists' musical preferences.
