BULLETIN D’INFORMATIONS >>

If you want to add a little history to your dining experience in the City of Miami, check out Joe’s Stone Crab. Originally a small lunch counter on Miami Beach, it has grown into a quality establishment that offers some of the best seafood around.

Like much of South Florida, Joe’s story begins in another country. The Weiss family arrived in New York from Hungary in the early 1900s to start a new life. Patriarch Joe left for Florida to start a business and provide for the family, opening a lunch counter that would one day be Joe’s Stone Crab in Miami Beach. Several years later, that little counter became a bungalow on Biscayne Street.

Today, Joe’s Stone Crab is located at 11 Washington Avenue and still serves great seafood. You can choose from Crab cake, Ginger Salmon, Apple pie and more to calm those hunger pains.
