Sunday night, March 29th at Bella Rose’s Black Sunday, DJ Steve Aoki, Donovan Leitch and The Bloody Beetroots delivered a surprise performance.
On Saturday, March 28th, Miami’s fashion expert and Ungaro chief designer Esteban Cortazar partied at Bella Rose’s Bella Donna party along with designer Richie Rich, fashion photographer Pablo Alfaro, publicist Paul Wilmot and Miami restaurant owner Fabian Basabe.
Akon was expected to perform at the Gansevoort Hotel on Saturday, March 28th for the Step by Step Benefit for Paralysis and Stem Cell Research but never showed. Instead, singer Sean Kingston appeared in his place and performed songs including Beautiful Girls. In attendance were Wyclef Jean and Nicky Hilton and her cousin Brooke Binson.
Flo Rida celebrated the release of his R.O.O.T.S. album at Dolce Nightclub on Saturday, March 28th. He performed around 2AM, taking off his shirt all the while. In attendance were celebrity friends including Flava Flav, Pleaure P, Wyclef Jean, Haitian Fresh, Sean Kingston, Tammy Torres and MTV’s The Fly Chicks. Flo Rida will be making appearances at the Best Buy in Hialeah on Friday, April 3rd at 3:30PM and another at the one in Pembroke Pines at 6:30PM.
Mariah Carey celebrated her 39th birthday at Cabana One in Coconut Grove on Saturday night, March 28th. Hubby Nick Cannon was the special guest DJ. Carey partied to Cannon’s spinning until 3AM. Cannon even played his favorite Mariah song, Emotions, to which Mariah sang along. Sources described Carey as being very social, taking the time to take pictures with fans.
On Friday, March 27th, Paris Hilton and boyfriend Doug Reinhardt spent all day at the Delano South Beach before going on to LIV at the Fontainebleau. According to RadarOnline, while hanging out at LIV, Hilton attempted to request a song from the DJ which is when Hilton was allegedly pushed by the DJ’s bodyguard. Hilton’s boyfriend Reinhardt stepped in to defend Hilton and wound up leaving with a bloody lip. No charges were pressed. The couple said they couldn't wait to get out of Miami but I guess they meant after their following stop at the Pink Elephant party at Mokai. On that very same Friday night, Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie celebrated her 34th birthday at LIV with husband Josh Duhamel and the rest of the Black Eyed Peas after they played at Bicentennial Park for the Ultra Music Festival. DJ AM spun at the LIV party while the party goers danced away at their private party in one of the club’s suites. Some reported seeing Duhamel in what seemed to be a very serious conversation with Wilmer Valderrama.
Pamela Anderson attended the Richie Rich fashion show at the Miami Bach Fontainebleau’s Sinatra Bar on Friday afternoon. Miami’s famous drag queen, Elaine Lancaster, walked the catwalk as well as playing hostess. |
