The Wynwood Art District is a section of Wynwood. The area of Miami known as the Wynwood Art District is located in the east central part of the city of Miami and is roughly bounded by NW 36th Street (north), NW 20th Street (south), I-95 (west) and NE 1st Avenue (east). This area is also known as Uptown Miami and the Edgewater District.

It is home to over forty art galleries Miami, five Miami museums, three collections, seven art complexes, twelve art studios and five art fairs. Every 2nd Saturday of the month a community wide Art Walk is held. Miami art galleries, Miami art studios, alternative spaces and Miami art showrooms open their doors to the public to celebrate art, music and enjoy refreshments.
