Celebrities in Miami: Alonzo Mourning, Dwyane Wade, Linda Hogan…

Yesterday, July 9th, Alonzo Mourning and Dwyane Wade hosted the 2009 Summer Groove. Wade teed off at the Doral Golf Resort and Spa with CNN reporter Roland Martin, Miami Dolphins’ Jason Taylor, FIU Panthers’ coach Isaiah Thomas and New England Patriots’ Randy Moss.

Frank Thomas, former Chicago White Sox and Oakland athlete worked out at Miami Beach’s David Barton Gym on Saturday, July 4th.

Linda Hogan and her 19-year-old boyfriend, Charley Hill, were seen shopping at The Ritz-Carlton South Beach’s Cabana boutique on Friday, July 3rd. Linda was staying at the Ritz while her son, Nick, stayed at the Shore Club. Linda and Hill were seen partying at LIV.

On Friday, July 3rd, controversial political commentator Ann Coulter was deep in conversation with a male companion at Gigi’s Tavern in Boca Raton.

Last week, Sugarhill Gang was in Miami. On Friday, July 3rd, they went up to Fort Lauderdale and dined at Café Martorano. While they were there, they grabbed a mike and performed songs including Apache and Rapper’s Delight. Since then, they performed at the Delano.

On Thursday, July 2nd, Real Housewives of New York City’s Bethenny Frankel was at the new W South Beach with developer David Edelstein where they toasted to the opening at the hotel’s Living Room bar. On The 4th of July, Frankel celebrated the holiday at the Gansevoort.
