Better known as “The Fair,” this MIami event attracts nearly 700,000 visitors each year. It has everything you can imagine in a fair including monster roller coasters, scary haunted houses, kiddie rides, games, cotton candy, elephant ears, and much more.
The Miami-Dade County Fair and Exposition 2011 also has plenty of souvenir and gift shopping, student and adult exhibits, agriculture competitions, a daily Mardi Gras parade and free live entertainment.

2011 Miami Beach Polo World Cup - Miami Events
For three days every year, the Miami Beach Polo World Cup brings the “Sport of Kings” to the white sands of South Beach. Featuring an international lineup of competition, with polo teams coming from as far away as Argentina, Brazil and Germany to compete for the La Martina Trophy, the 2011 Miami Beach Polo World Cup was first held in 2005.
The 2011 Miami Beach Polo World Cup polo matches will take place from April 21-24, 2011 on the beach. This is “the world’s largest and most prestigious Polo Tournament on the Beach.”

37th Annual Miami Beach Festival of the ArtsPosted on Monday, 03.08.2011 37th Annual Miami Beach Festival of the Arts - Miami Events This Annual Miami Beach Festival of the Arts is a nationally recognized event that attracts more than 40,000 visitors to Ocean Terrace to browse amongst the fine art on exhibit while enjoying the cultural and performing arts. Ocean Terrace, located between the ocean and Collins Avenue, offers an open-air amphitheater with on-going music, dance, theatre, arts & crafts, storytelling, and international cuisine throughout the event for children of all ages.
The Miami Beach Festival of the Arts started out as a local street show and is now the most prestigious Miami festivals of cultural art on the East Coast. The Miami Beach Festival of the Arts, a signature event for residents and visitors of the City of Miami Beach, showcases the artwork of over 150 artists from around the globe along with their paintings, sculpture, glass, ceramics, jewelry, and photographs. The artwork is then displayed in a contest to win cash prizes and awards.

13th Annual Miami Gay & Lesbian Film FestivalThe 13th annual Miami Gay & Lesbian Film Festival is a 10-day event that brings more than 10,000 visitors to South Beach every year. The event features the best new gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender films and videos by, about and of interest to the LGBT communities. Although based in South Beach, this Miami festival traditionally covered screenings from Miami-Dade County to Fort Lauderdale. Now in its 13th year, the 2011 Miami Gay & Lesbian Film Festival will also include films produced around the world. It aims to entertain as well as educate the public while encouraging a sense of community through international and culturally diverse film, video and other media that offer historical and contemporary perspectives on the LGBT communities.
